In accordance with the General Guidelines for National Societies under the China Association for Science and Technology, the Provisional Measures for the Public Notification of Executive Appointments in National Societies (CAST Letter [2019] No. 183), and the International Hydrogen Fuel Cell Association (IHFCA) Constitution, and in line with the Association's operational plans, a written review was conducted on May 26, 2025, by the IHFCA. The review approved the proposal to nominate Mr. Yuda Shuji of TOYOTA MOTOR as an additional Vice Chairman of the International Hydrogen Fuel Cell Association.
The basic information of the proposed appointee is hereby published for public notice. The notice period is from May 28 to May 30, 2025 (3 working days).
Mr. Yuda Shuji
Mr. Yuda Shuji currently serves as Senior Technical Executive at Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. Having joined Toyota Motor Corporation in 1989, he has established an exemplary career spanning over three decades in automotive technology development and executive leadership.
Mr. Yuda's technical expertise was forged through his pioneering work in advanced engine technology research and mass production technology development. His international experience includes significant contributions at Toyota's North American R&D Center, where he specialized in powertrain systems development. Upon returning to Japan, he assumed responsibility for comprehensive powertrain development and strategic planning, with particular focus on fuel cell (FC) technology advancement.
In 2017, Mr. Yuda was appointed to dual executive roles as President of Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (China) Co., Ltd. and President of its Beijing Branch. His leadership capabilities were further recognized in 2019 with his promotion to Technical Director of Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. In this capacity, he has developed exceptional proficiency in navigating China's regulatory framework while spearheading the successful introduction, implementation, and commercialization of fuel cell products in the Chinese market.
During the public notice period, any organization or individual with objections to the proposed appointment may submit written, signed feedback to the Secretariat of the International Hydrogen Fuel Cell Association.

关于国际氢能燃料电池协会第一届理事会拟任负责人人选公示
根据《中国科学技术协会全国学会组织通则》和《全国学会负责人任职前公示办法（试行）》（科协学函管字〔2019〕183号）和《国际氢能燃料电池协会章程》，结合协会业务部署，国际氢能燃料电池协会于2025年5月26日进行了函审，审议通过了“提名丰田汽车（中国）投资有限公司高级技术官汤田修事先生变更（增补）为国际氢能燃料电池协会副理事长人选”的提议。
现对增补的拟任负责人人选基本信息进行公示，公示时间为2025年5月28日—2025年5月30日（3个工作日）。
汤田修事，丰田汽车（中国）投资有限公司高级技术官。汤田先生于1989年加入丰田汽车。曾负责发动机先进技术研发和量产技术研发。曾在北美研发中心从事动力总成研发工作，后返回日本从事包括FC技术在内的动力总成研发和动力总成规划工作。自 2017 年起，汤田先生担任丰田汽车工程机械（中国）有限公司总裁，北京分公司总裁。2019年，他被任命为丰田汽车（中国）投资有限公司技术总监，在中国的政策法规、燃料电池产品引进、应用和推广方面拥有丰富的经验。
