In accordance with the General Guidelines for National Societies under the China Association for Science and Technology, the Provisional Measures for the Public Notification of Executive Appointments in National Societies (CAST Letter [2019] No. 183), and the International Hydrogen Fuel Cell Association (IHFCA) Constitution, and in line with the Association's operational plans, a written review was conducted on May 26, 2025, by the IHFCA. The review approved the proposal to nominate Mr. Lee Hyuk Joon of Hyundai Motor as an additional Vice Chairman of the International Hydrogen Fuel Cell Association.
The basic information of the proposed appointee is hereby published for public notice. The notice period is from May 28 to May30, 2025 (3 working days).
Mr. Lee Hyuk Joon
Mr. Lee Hyuk Joon serves as President of Hyundai Motor Company (China) Investment Ltd., bringing over two decades of executive leadership to Hyundai Motor Group's China operations. A distinguished alumnus of Jilin University's School of Economics and Management, he further earned his Executive MBA from Peking University and doctoral degree from Renmin University's Business School, completing an exceptional academic trajectory that informs his strategic vision.
Since joining Hyundai's China operations in 2001, Mr. Lee has cultivated comprehensive expertise spanning government relations and policy navigation, corporate strategy formulation, and the implementation of the "New Four Modernizations" technological transformation (electrification, connectivity, autonomous driving, and shared mobility). His operational excellence extends to joint venture management, hydrogen fuel cell infrastructure development, and the advancement of localization strategies tailored to the Chinese automotive market. This multidimensional experience positions him as one of the most knowledgeable executives in Sino-Korean automotive industry relations.?

关于国际氢能燃料电池协会第一届理事会拟任负责人人选公示
根据《中国科学技术协会全国学会组织通则》和《全国学会负责人任职前公示办法（试行）》（科协学函管字〔2019〕183号）和《国际氢能燃料电池协会章程》，结合协会业务部署，国际氢能燃料电池协会于2025年5月26日进行了函审，审议通过了“提名现代汽车（中国）投资有限公司总裁李赫埈先生变更（增补）为国际氢能燃料电池协会副理事长人选”的提议。
现对增补的拟任负责人人选基本信息进行公示，公示时间为2025年5月28日—2025年5月30日（3个工作日）。
毕业于吉林大学经济管理学院，并先后获得北京大学EMBA、中国人民大学商学院博士学位，自2001年起开始服务现代汽车集团在华事业，并在政府沟通、企业战略规划、产品技术“新四化”布局、合资企业发展管理、氢燃料电池布局发展、本土化管理等领域具有丰富经验。
