The Third Session of the First Executive Board Meeting of the International Hydrogen Fuel Cell Association (hereinafter referred to as the "Association") were held on July 6, 2023, in Shanghai International Automobile City as part of the International Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell Vehicle Congress & Exhibition.
The meeting was presided over by Ouyang Minggao, Chairman of the International Hydrogen Fuel Cell Association, professor of Tsinghua University, and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Many council members from the globe attended the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, Ms. Wang Ju, Secretary-General of the Association, reported the "2022-2023 Annual Work Report of the International Hydrogen Fuel Cell Association", which covers the Association's work progress from 2022 to 2023, financial situation and work plan from 2023 to 2024. The meeting also reviewed the "Regulations for the Management of Branch Institutions ".
The meeting reviewed, voted and approved the "International Hydrogen Fuel Cell Association 2022-2023 Annual Work Report" and "Regulations for the Management of Branch Institutions".
During the meeting, Mr. Yuda Shuji, Vice Chairman of the Association and Chief Technical Officer of Toyota Motor (China) Investment, Mr. Tony Chen, Vice Chairman of the Association and Head of Market Development PGMs, APAC, Anglo American, Mr. Yu Zhuoping, Standing Executive Board Member of the Association and professor of Tongji University, and Ms. Audrey Ma, Standing Executive Board Member of the Association and Vice President of Shanghai REFIRE, delivered speeches. The representatives expressed affirmation and congratulations on the Association's achievements in the past year and provided positive suggestions regarding the promotion of hydrogen energy commercialization, standard formulation, hydrogen energy and fuel cell technology promotion, as well as the branches to be established by the Association.

At the end of the meeting, Chairman Ouyang Minggao provided a summary of the proceedings. He emphasized that with the implementation of the "dual carbon" strategy, the hydrogen energy industry has encountered unprecedented opportunities for future development, positioning it as a significant strategic industry. Chairman Ouyang expressed his hope that Association members would collaborate in addressing key challenges and collectively foster the high-quality development of the industry, projecting it to reach the same level as new energy vehicles within the next 10 years.
