Facing the greater challenges brought by global climate change, governments and enterprises of multiple countries have proposed the goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality. Under this context, fuel cell vehicles, as a type of new energy vehicles, have become one of the major development pathways of China’s automotive industry. According to China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the cumulative production and sales of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in China in 2022 reached 3,626 and 3,367 respectively, with a year-on-year growth of 105.4% and 112.8% and its ownership ranking top three in the world. Despite the achievements China has made in promoting fuel cell vehicles, there are certain constraints, and the industry is still in an early stage of commercialization, facing problems such as insufficient industry chain synergy, inconsistency in hydrogen quality for vehicles, lack of hydrogen infrastructure, immature standard systems, etc. 2023 International Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle Industry Collaboration and Exchange Conference will be held on April 3, 2023 in Daxing International Hydrogen Demonstration Zone. This meeting aims to exchange ideas regarding these issues to accelerate the development of the automotive industry and remove barriers to upgrade global hydrogen fuel cell vehicle technology and industry.
