Industry and Policy studies

Conduct policy research for hydrogen and FCV commercialization, act as think tanks on technology pathways, strategies and incentive measures, and advise the industry on market intelligence and industry trends.

China has periodic development goals for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles (HFCV) till 2035.

By 2025, it is required to accelerate the popularization and application of hydrogen energy and fuel cell vehicles. To large SUVs, public services, the bulk application of vehicles will be mainly based on the existing storage, transportation and refueling technology. They will be based on the radiation distance of 150 km to promote hydrogen energy and fuel cell technology appropriately according to local conditions. There will be optimizations of the structural design of fuel cell systems, and accelerate the production of key components industrialization, greatly reduce the cost of fuel cell systems. The number of fuel cell vehicles will reach 50,000 to 100,000.
